NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Directors of Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc on Friday, 11^th March 2011 approved the payment of a Dividend of US 0.42 Cents per ordinary share which translates to K20 per share using the exchange rate applicable on the date of declaration.

In compliance with the requirements of the Securities Act Cap 354 of the Laws of Zambia and the Listing Rules of the Lusaka Stock Exchange, the dividend shall be payable to the shareholders registered in the share register of the Company at the close of business on Friday, 25^th March 2011.

Dividend payment will be effected on or before Friday, 15^th April 2011.
