Section 7 of the Circular to CEC Shareholders regarding the Offer from Zambian Transmission LLP (see the document link below) sets out 8 conditions that have to be met for the Offer to be unconditional in all respects.The Minister of Finance as the holder of the Golden Share has given approval to the possible change in ownership of CEC. The Energy Regulation Board has been provided notification of The Offer. This means that 2 of the 8 conditions precedent have been met. We will keep you updated on further developments.
